Weekly Stuff lets go y'all!

Whats up y'all its dwonivan/ dwonathan/dwonfin and lets not forget everyone's number one short boy! So this week went by pretty fast, but for me it was basically a week of catching up on work from school, which was followed by falling asleep while trying to finish my independent study which sucked but i wasn't worried about. When I revise it, I'm gonna make it how I originally wanted it to be, with a real fight scene and al that good stuff. Luckily I turned the rest of my work so I'm caught up, yay! I was doing fanart for Phil from The Promised Neverland which I'll finish this weekend, I love Phil he's such the sweetest little boy in the anime, but also really intelligent for his age (which is four). I didn't really work on my final project at all this week since I need to record the rest of Savannah and Ari's audio since they are my main characters (thanks again love y'all!) but I've been practicing my poses a lot in class and at first I found it hard to map out the body but I forgot to find the gesture of the bodies first which helped a lot when I did. Am I where I want to be so I can do fight scenes? Not at all but I'm doing better at them for sure. We didn't learn anything this week since it was just final project stuff but I did pretty well on my independent study, animation wise. Interesting enough, I Iearned that I'm actually decent at creating stories but terrible at making when I'm rushed and I can never think of anything until the day before a storyboard is due sooooo yikes gotta work on that most definitely. Nothing bad really happened this week but it was kinda sad because my oldest dog is a rottweiler whose 10 years old and she has really bad hips and joints now to where she is whining when she gets up or moves around too much which is from old age so she won't around for much longer which sucks but she is still always happy soo that's pretty lit but also my dad is sick but it's just a regular sick nothing terrible. I was happy this week because it's the last week before spring break but also because BTS had a new comeback today! Basically it means they released a new album with a whole new theme and they usually dye or style their hair differently which is always amazing, hence why I'm wearing my BTS hoodie today soo yay, I've been listening to them all day today and they are gonna be performing live on Saturday Night Live tomorrow which I am for sure watching and my BTS pop socket is coming in on Tuesday which says "Fake Love" on it which is the name of one of their songs from two albums ago. So yeah I'm really happy plus the next two weeks will of nothing but animating, drawing, a little bit of gaming, and going to see Avengers: Endgame! Weekly stuff yahoooo

Hey y'all its Dwon/Dwonivan and I'm back from the dominican republic, it was a good time but also not great. Because of the trip, I've fallen super behind on the project like I'm still animating it sadly, which also means I'm definitely gonna have to pull an all nighter or two to finish it but it'll be worth it in the end.  I'm still kinda "scared" I guess about t doing the final project blog because with this project I barely used any references, well maybe enough? We shall see, but yeah don't be surprised if on Monday I'm still not done with the rough animation because it'll be a lot to do but I got this *dabs. I don't really have a choice anyway lol, it's either hand it in incomplete and get a failing grade or pull like two all nighters (not back to back ofc) and be able to finish it. Timing

 Timing is essential when it comes to animation but also it helps you improve as an artist/animator as well. Animation veteran has sat down and taught us why timing is important and how it can also be fun to do also.     Timing involves how fast something moves and how long it stays still. Slowing an object represents weight, gravity, mass and speeding up an object adds speed, energy, and lightness. When working on timing, it is a good idea to work on the poses that you want in an animation, and number the poses as to where it breaks down, this allows you to know ahead of time if the rhythm is right and if the poses work out together or not.          Your key poses help set up how the rest of the poses will turn out, they aren't shown for that long, only for a quarter to half of a second but you can stretch out the time a little bit so your audience is able to see them.
