Weekly comments yippee

Whats up y’all its Dwon/ Dwonivan/Dwonathan and my new trademark: everyone’s little brother (thanks Sam lmao). So this week was uneventful besides learning how to work our microphones and sound effects which was kinda fun. I don’t like my independent study at all to be honest with you, it’s just not the way I want it to be mainly because I don’t know basic anatomy or perspective and I slacked off on my anatomy studies this weekend. Also I feel like I’m slacking in school even though the majority of my grades are in the 80’s, not to mention my skill with my desk tablet isn’t as good as my skill with my on screen tablet and to me it shows so that’s pretty depressing to be honest with you. But I did revisions for my diving board which I’m pretty proud of and I’m going to do revision for my hare so my grade will be higher since me not doing it basically killed my grade but it’ll get better. I still don’t have a plan for my final project which sucks because I used to be really creative and good at writings stories when I was younger and I wish I still had that so yeah I’m drinking that good ol’ Depresso Espresso, love that for me. I don’t really like school at all and I dread going everyday but also on weekends I feel like I’m wasting my life just chilling which sucks and I swear I have an addiction to my phone which I need to stop to be more productive. Nothing great happened this week except I got to see my dad since he moved closer to my house so I’ll get to see him a lot more which is awesome, I really missed him and my stepmom and my little brother and sister, to be honest I have more fun at his house than I do at home. I don’t really have any other males in my house other than my moms boyfriend but he doesn’t really know what I like but don’t get me wrong he’s an awesome guy but I miss having my older brother ( he moved out) and my dad around so I tell them things when I need to and talk about how life is and such, you know? I’m not really interested in anything at the moment, I’m just want a break from school to be honest.  Here’s a new video from Gingerpale about Soda, it’s pretty hilarious.     Bro I feel you with school, broski. Just want it to be over... but summer is Soon. SOOON. Soon we will be free of burden only to be saddled with it again in the coming months. Huzzah!

Weekly stuff yahoooo

Hey y'all its Dwon/Dwonivan and I'm back from the dominican republic, it was a good time but also not great. Because of the trip, I've fallen super behind on the project like I'm still animating it sadly, which also means I'm definitely gonna have to pull an all nighter or two to finish it but it'll be worth it in the end.  I'm still kinda "scared" I guess about t doing the final project blog because with this project I barely used any references, well maybe enough? We shall see, but yeah don't be surprised if on Monday I'm still not done with the rough animation because it'll be a lot to do but I got this *dabs. I don't really have a choice anyway lol, it's either hand it in incomplete and get a failing grade or pull like two all nighters (not back to back ofc) and be able to finish it. Timing

 Timing is essential when it comes to animation but also it helps you improve as an artist/animator as well. Animation veteran has sat down and taught us why timing is important and how it can also be fun to do also.     Timing involves how fast something moves and how long it stays still. Slowing an object represents weight, gravity, mass and speeding up an object adds speed, energy, and lightness. When working on timing, it is a good idea to work on the poses that you want in an animation, and number the poses as to where it breaks down, this allows you to know ahead of time if the rhythm is right and if the poses work out together or not.          Your key poses help set up how the rest of the poses will turn out, they aren't shown for that long, only for a quarter to half of a second but you can stretch out the time a little bit so your audience is able to see them.
