Hey y'all, its Dwon of course with another blog for this week, which means another week for T-posing, whip nah nae's and italian spaghett memes XD. This week i learned how successfully make a tail wave, well semi-successfully because of my lack of technical skills so if you ever need help in class, i suggest you don't ask me. What i wanna learn in the future is how to keep proportions the same when animating a person or animal moving and well I'm just really excited to learn new things in general. Something that frustrated me and continues to do so is i can't use the paint bucket properly like with my lines not connect properly which i know i will get better with in the future but for now its pretty irritating and I just learned i might need my wisdom teeth out, so yeah thats not fun. But i have some exciting news though, I'm going to toronto for 16th birthday next month and my birthday is on a friday so i won't miss any school time yayyyyy, and i am very happy and excited about my idea for the ball and tail project and was very happy with how my ball looks and how the rough sketch looks, hopefully i can execute it the way i want to. I can't remember how to put my link here, so that'll be my next post, see y'all tomorrow at school. Peace Out Nerd Scouts!

Weekly stuff yahoooo

Hey y'all its Dwon/Dwonivan and I'm back from the dominican republic, it was a good time but also not great. Because of the trip, I've fallen super behind on the project like I'm still animating it sadly, which also means I'm definitely gonna have to pull an all nighter or two to finish it but it'll be worth it in the end.  I'm still kinda "scared" I guess about t doing the final project blog because with this project I barely used any references, well maybe enough? We shall see, but yeah don't be surprised if on Monday I'm still not done with the rough animation because it'll be a lot to do but I got this *dabs. I don't really have a choice anyway lol, it's either hand it in incomplete and get a failing grade or pull like two all nighters (not back to back ofc) and be able to finish it. Timing

 Timing is essential when it comes to animation but also it helps you improve as an artist/animator as well. Animation veteran has sat down and taught us why timing is important and how it can also be fun to do also.     Timing involves how fast something moves and how long it stays still. Slowing an object represents weight, gravity, mass and speeding up an object adds speed, energy, and lightness. When working on timing, it is a good idea to work on the poses that you want in an animation, and number the poses as to where it breaks down, this allows you to know ahead of time if the rhythm is right and if the poses work out together or not.          Your key poses help set up how the rest of the poses will turn out, they aren't shown for that long, only for a quarter to half of a second but you can stretch out the time a little bit so your audience is able to see them.
