Drawing Animators into Over the Garden Wall (+Ghost Story!)

Hey y'all, its Dwon of course with another blog for this week, which means another week for T-posing, whip nah nae's and italian spaghett memes XD. This week i learned how successfully make a tail wave, well semi-successfully because of my lack of technical skills so if you ever need help in class, i suggest you don't ask me. What i wanna learn in the future is how to keep proportions the same when animating a person or animal moving and well I'm just really excited to learn new things in general. Something that frustrated me and continues to do so is i can't use the paint bucket properly like with my lines not connect properly which i know i will get better with in the future but for now its pretty irritating and I just learned i might need my wisdom teeth out, so yeah thats not fun. The principle of squash and stretch

        Heyo my nerds, its Dwon with a very late and well procrastinated blog but you know still doing it. So you remember that presentation we watched about the 12 principles of animation? Well today, I'll be discussing the principle of squash and stretch (like everyone else).           Squash and stretch is a principle of animation where you change the shape of an object between squash and stretch to make it seem more alive or to give it some flexibility and make it less stiff and lifeless. A common exercise to practice squash and stretch exercise is the bouncing ball where you give the ball a certain amount of both squash and stretch as its in the air or hits the ground.              Squash and stretch isn't just applied to objects though, it can be applied to cartoon characters also.
