Weeks worth of animation class
This week in animation class, we learned the 12 different principles of animation and how and when to use them properly. For example i learned the squash and stretch can be used to simulate speed as far as speeding up starting to speed up. I personality never noticed how when walking we are rising up and down. What would be interesting to see in the future would to see how lip syncing works and what mouth movements to use for certain vowels or words. This week during working on the color theory project, either my computer wouldn't allow me to do certain things so it took a while to do it, but also I'm not good with computers at all, so thats probably the reason why. An exciting thing that happened this week was that we watched Wall-e in class to take notes on the principles of animation used in the movie, its an amazing movie and i would highly recommend it. I'm sure your computer skills will improve this year! Keep your chin up! Speed comes with practice. Lots and lots of tedious practice...
