Weekly comments stuff

Hey y'all its ya boi Dwon/ Dwonathan/Dwonivan and we are back with another blog even its late but wumpus we still doing it. So first and foremost I don't like 3D, like at all but oh well I guess I'll have to suck it up my dudes. It doesn't help that I'm behind on tutorials but i heard after the helmet it is way better. But on the plus side, my new pencils came in and I'm so happy! Also I'm improving with my realism each time i draw and I'm drawing everyday so far but i really have to draw mouths and different profiles more but that'll come with time and i went moonlight bowling Saturday for my friends party and I had an amazing time. Who is ready for Christmas?! I definitely am, I'm so excited for it, I just love Christmas time like, I just put up my tree. Something interesting that happened this week was the long week of demo's mainly because I only fell asleep once but that was because I only had gotten 2-3 hours of sleep and it wasn't ...

Secondary Action Assignment

Secondary Action is a movement that is dependent upon some other, active movement. For example if someone with long hair turns their head and the hair moves along with it, thats secondary action. Usually secondary action is the principle that makes your scene seem less bland and more interesting, like it is not super obvious but you can tell it is there.                 Never let your secondary action be kinda what everyone expects, think about what your scene is and what you would do in the scene and what could happen. Also using other objects in the scene can help make things seem less boring like whistling, wiggling their fingers, licking their lips, etc. But also you can use secondary action with thinks like glasses, for example they can fog up, or they can move while someone, lets say jumps really hard.           Secondary Action isn't so much like the character but the scene and w...
Whats good y'all its Dwon back with another blog so aye lets get it. This weeks I learned how time consuming an 11 second animation is but I've improved with things since the beginning of the year so thats great, but seriously I learned the different ways that we will have to look at a shape when we do 3D animation. Something I wanna see in the future be everyone everyone is the animation class to do a MAP which is basically a video with music in the background and we would all animate a portion of it so it'll be one big animation and we would use our own style for the portion we animate so I think it would be fun. Something that frustrated me this week is I'm kinda looking forward to 3D but also I'm but we shall see. Also I disappointing  my mom at home because I'm lazy with certain and I always feel like crap and I don't get why I'm still like but yeah. On Saturday I'll be in Toronto again to see a UFC fight which is amazing so I'm happy about ...

Slow in and Slow Out article assignment

Hey everyone this weeks article is about the principle of animation called Slow In and Slow Out. Slow in and Slow out describes when objects come to rest or are in motion. The movement of objects need time to accelerate and slow down.         The principle of animation tells us when animating an objet from a stop, the spacing needs to progressively increase until its catches up to speed and remains constant and then when it comes to a stop the spacing decreases until it eventually stops at zero. Spacing is slang for frame by frame and the term was made back when animating was done on paper, the spacing shows movement so the bigger the spacing the bigger the movement.    The name "Slow Out" came to be when animators realized that to make the animation slower they had to add more drawings. Slow in and Slow out refers to physics, such acceleration ( the rate of change of velocity over time, velocity ( the rate of change of position of time), tra...
